Sometimes things seem so happy, you just have to stop and be thankful.

I'll post new pictures of my work soon. I'm just so busy these days with all God has brought into my life. It's wonderful.

Time is precious, and I am trying to use mine in a valuable way. As I make changes in my life, it makes me wonder:

Why do we waste so much time with things that seem important for the moment - but in the end prove to be worthless?

 

Curious about the life of an artist? I am working to make a regular notebook for you as readers. My goal is to give you a glimpse into Creativity with a capitol C.

First of all:

Fear kills creativity. It makes a person not want to start, finish, or worst of all  show someone else! We are embarrassed about our meager attempts at music and art, and we would never want anyone else to know our miserable failure.

Naturally, I am scared of failure too. Living for the approval of others is not why we should do art and music.

Instead, be willing to give to the people around you and share a part of your heart. They will probably appreciate whatever you have to give, no matter what it is. Honor the Lord above all else with what you do, and he will bless that. Share what you do, and...

Do not be afraid!
